There’s just something about tossing a line in the water and reeling in the big one that never ceases to thrill for those who enjoy the angling life! With a temporary fishing license, you can cast your lines off our docks, use our cleaning station, and soak in paradise. Or, if you want the guidance of one of our local experts, there are plenty to choose from.

Environmental Learning Center – 16,500 square-foot facility with four research laboratories, classrooms and 140-seat auditorium, and a two story visitor center. The visitor center offers a variety of hands-on experiences, including a 2,300-gallon aquarium and interactive exhibits addressing research and stewardship efforts ongoing within the Reserve, as well as a nature store, gallery and picnic area. Collier-Seminole State Park is a Florida State Park and the home of a National Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark, the Bay City Walking Dredge – used to build the Tamiami Trail through the Everglades. The park includes 6,430 acres of mangrove swamp, cypress swamps, salt marshes, mangrove river estuaries, and pine flatwoods. Among the wildlife are American alligators, raccoons, ospreys, the American white ibis, brown pelicans, wood storks, bald eagles, red-cockaded woodpeckers, American crocodiles, Florida black bears and Big Cypress fox squirrels. Naples Zoo is a nationally accredited zoo and charitable institution in Southwest Florida that features a full day of fun activities. This 52-acre tropical park is named “Best Place for Kids” by Naples Daily News and Gulfshore Life Magazine.
